We’re Back with Exciting Updates to Improve Your ApexMortal Experience!
We’ve made some great improvements to help you get more out of your workouts. Here’s what’s new:
Creating and Renaming Exercises
The right exercises are key to making progress in your fitness routine. Without them, you might feel stuck, frustrated, or start doubting your efforts. That’s something we definitely want to avoid!
Everyone has their own way of interpreting exercises—what muscles they target, how they should be performed, and what their names should be. Right now, your goals are somewhat limited by the exercises that ApexMortal offers.
Wouldn’t it be great if you could create exercises tailored to your exact needs? We think so too.
Now, if you can’t find an exercise that meets your criteria—whether it’s the muscles worked, the example provided, the area of focus, or even just the name—you have the power to change that. Guild admins can now unleash their creativity, offering personalized exercises for their members and the entire ApexMortal community.
From the Guild Hall, admins and owners can create or rename exercises. Simply enter the required information, list the muscles involved, and provide a brief description of the exercise.
Finding it hard to create your exercise from scratch? We have you covered, just use our scaffold tool to leverage our library with your creativity! Don’t like the name of an exercise? No problem! Just select the rename, choose the exercise, changing the example(if you want), enter the new name, hit save, and you’re all set. Renamed exercises will only be visible to your guild, helping your members stay on track with your unique guidance. Finally, if you know the exercise you want to create, just use the new tab!
Focusing on Specific Fitness Goals
We all work out to stay healthy, but let’s be honest—getting the most out of our efforts is what really counts. For that, you need a clear purpose. Are you trying to build muscle? Increase strength? Improve your VO2 max? Each of these goals requires a different approach.
Now, when you’re designing a routine or creating a workout, you can choose exactly what you want to focus on.
Although it’s a small part of the overall workout, having a clear focus plays a huge role in how your body adapts and improves.
