Discipline Will Win
Motivation is not certain, discipline is.

Many people fail to reach their goals, not for lack of trying, but lack of discipline. There will be many days where you don't want to workout, you don't want to go for that run, you don't want to eat correctly. Unfortunately, that is when you have to dig deep and have self discipline to set out and accomplish those tasks.

Having motivation is great, but it wont get the job done. Those days when you want to "rest" will over come your motivation and you will need discipline to get the job done. This mentality is what sets great people apart from the heard, this is why kids look up to athletes. Athletes have that will to push themselves to the limit when their body is saying no more. If you want to accomplish great things in this life, have self-discipline, tell the little bitch in your head I'm doing this so sit back and watch me!

This past week Andrew Huberman released a video on supplements and it was very informative. You can watch it on youtube but there are other places to listen to it like apple podcast and spotify to name a couple. However, I just wanted to list a couple main points of knowledge that I walked away with.

  • Cycle on/off supplements to see if they are working, i.e. 2 weeks off 8-12 weeks on
  • Gut nutrition can be achieved by getting fiber and eating your macros
  • Libido, Growth Hormone, Fertility comes down to proper sleep and sunlight

So, test to see if the supplements you are talking actually work by cycling off and on them for a couple months. See what your body/mind reaction to that is. Get healthy food that meets your macro nutrition needs; get those probiotics/ prebiotics foods. Finally get proper sleep, 7-9 hours with sunlight in the morning as soon as you walk up. This will set your body up for a whole host of natural things that your body will do if you follow this.

Again go listen/watch the pod cast it is very informative.
